TRACY VIDEON
A Passionate Advocate for Australian Heritage Music
As a lifelong learner, conductor, and musician, Tracy devotes much of her time to seeking lost music that needs to be a part of our everyday repertoire. Her talents as a musician, composer, conductor, and researcher allow her to find hidden gems and create musical works that not only honor overlooked composers from the past but that are also substantial offerings to the music of today.
Her passion for Australian heritage is the driving force behind her research, bringing well-deserved recognition to countless women composers from Australia who have been overlooked. A regular presenter, Tracy enjoys sharing her findings across the world to provide a contribution to the wind band world
RESEARCHER
Constantly Seeking

She has a continual quest for a deeper understanding of the many subjects that interest her, and she is committed to discovering not just the facts, but the meanings behind them - and to share both the knowledge and the human stories.
Tracy has been praised for her ability to make complex or specialised topics accessible and interesting to non-specialists. Her passion for sharing her findings in musical ways, beyond just research, is what drives her along her path.
CONDUCTOR

EDUCATOR
Lifelong Learner and Educator
